I recently wrote a blog post about local Eastern Shore wedding venues. While doing my research for the last blog I realized that including Delaware Beach wedding venues in the post would make the blog too long and that Delaware Beach wedding venues deserve a spot all on their own. Â

My criteria for my Delaware Beach wedding venues are the same as in the previous blog. I am looking for affordable venues, that offer a different kind of flair than the usual ballroom-/big venue set-up and I am looking at these venues from a wedding photographer's point of view. What does the setting look like in pictures? How many different areas do we have to take photos of? What if the weather is not cooperating, is there enough space inside to pose the entire wedding party? What I don't want is a venue where these things are not taken into consideration. Believe me, I have been to venues where there was no outside space to take photos and hardly any on the inside. It is not surprising that these venues get booked for weddings, considering that most couples don't think about photos as their main priority when looking at potential venues. It is often not until they talked to me that they think about photo locations at the wedding venue. Â
While there are many Delaware Beach wedding venues I liked, I made myself curate it to only five. I feel having too many options often makes a choice more difficult. I know from experience, for example, when I look over the menu in a restaurant, the more choices I am offered the harder it is to pick out what I want. Â
Without further ado, here are my 5 Delaware Beach wedding venues in no particular order.
Wedding Venues in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware: Salero
Salero is one of Rehoboth Beach’s banquet hall-style wedding venues and offers an excellent backdrop for anyone wanting a beach wedding in southern Delaware. With its oceanfront views, both couples and their closest friends and family are sure to enjoy the wedding celebration, especially beachside wedding ceremonies. The banquet hall measure seven hundred square feet and is capable of accommodating up to two hundred people, or up to 170 people for a seated dinner wedding reception. Salero is particularly popular due to its exceptional catering services, and a bar and a dance can also be set up for weddings.

Rehoboth Beach Wedding Venues: The Bellmoor Inn and Spa
The Bellmoor Inn and Spa features all of the necessary elements for a great wedding venue in Rehoboth Beach, including a contemporary style, first-class service, and an iconic location. Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Wedding Venues: Light House Cove Catering
The Lighthouse Cove Event Center provides more than 14,600 square feet of flexible event space both outdoors and indoors, offering an ideal venue for beach weddings or destination wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. Couples and their guests can take in the stunning views of the nearby Rehoboth Bay, only a handful of steps away from the ocean. The Ballroom at the Lighthouse Cove provides more than 4,300 square feet of space that offers plenty of room for wedding receptions. There is also an expansive 7,500-square-foot patio overlooking the bay. The venue assists with setup, food options, and more.

Wedding Venues in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware: Ivy Restaurant
Ivy is a restaurant in Dewey Beach, just outside of Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, and is part of the Dewey Beach Life family, which also includes Northbeach, Dewey Beach Liquors, Outlet Liquors, Jimmy’s Grille Dewey, Bottle and Cork, and the Rusty Rudder. Only Ivy and Northbeach, however, serve as wedding venues in Dewey Beach. The Icy boasts amazing sunsets and spectacular views of the water. With a wedding at Ivy, couples can relax with a great setting, special service, and delicious food. Ivy offers one of the best views of the Bay as a backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Places to Get Married: Henlopen Acres Beach Club, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
The Henlopen Acres Beach Club in Rehoboth Beach is a private beach club available to people who own property in Henlopen Acres. The Beach Club provides a good venue for family gatherings, birthdays, reunions, anniversary parties, and wedding receptions. The downside to the Henlopen Acres Beach Club is that is is only possible for members to rent out the venue, which is available for events typically between May 15th and September 30th. No tented events are allowed at the club between July 1st and Labor Day. The Henlopen Acres Beach Club is open to members from Memorial Day through mid-September.
