As a wedding photographer working on the Eastern Shore, I am drawn to the beautiful beaches and the weddings that are celebrated in our resort communities. There is something special about a bride with a sun-kissed tan walking barefoot down the sandy aisle as the salty wind tussles her hair and the sun sets over the ocean. And as much as I enjoy photographing the bride and groom strolling along sandy beaches, or looking out onto the crashing waves of the Atlantic, I also love being part of more traditional weddings. Fortunately, Eastern Shore weddings are not only held on sandy beaches but all over this great peninsula of ours. There is something so lovely about a small-town wedding. And even as many communities on the Shore are expanding at an ever-increasing rate, towns like Salisbury or Seaford have not relinquished the feel of a place that reminds us of a simpler, slower time. I am grateful to call this place my home, and moreover, I am grateful to be working in a place so rich in history and beauty. And as a working photographer living on the Eastern Shore traveling to Maryland towns like Baltimore, Annapolis, and working at wedding venues anywhere in Delaware is part of the deal.
