Looking for an Annapolis wedding venue to celebrate your special day?
Allison and Dana said their "I Dos" at Sherwood Forest Club on Severn River in Annapolis Maryland. The club provides a beautiful lodge for ceremonies and get-togethers. When you first arrive at the club, it takes a second to take it all in. Looking at the lodge, it feels like you are somewhere in the mountains on the western side of the State. From the outside, the lodge looks like something you would see in the hills of Scottland. Tons of wood and stone with a big porch. On the inside, you will see two big rooms. one of the rooms has a tremendous fireplace and the other has a big stage perfect for a band. Unfortunately, this beautiful lodge is only available for club members and residents.
Annapolis Wedding Venues, Something for everyone
I know, I know, I made you excited about this place and now I am bursting your bubble. But fret not, Annapolis has some very special and romantic wedding venues available to everyone. Since not everyone will be able to celebrate their wedding at this Annapolis wedding venue, I thought it would be fun and educational to make a shortlist of a few of my favorite Annapolis wedding venues.

Ideally located in the new upper west side in the heart of downtown Annapolis, The Westin Annapolis at Park Place The Westin Annapolis offers the perfect blend of upscale appeal and outstanding service in a unique destination.
Ballrooms
The Capitol Ball Room with over 6500-square-feet is the largest ballroom in Annapolis.
The Annapolis Ballroom with over 3000-square-feet of space is the only one of a kind open-air kitchen concept ballroom in Annapolis with windows throughout the space and a rounded rotunda with a dramatic contemporary chandelier. This ballroom is an ideal space for weddings under 140 guests and for couples that are looking for a great contemporary space with an open-air kitchen concept.
Annapolis Wedding Venue, The Chart House
With the ability to accommodate parties of up to 250, The Chart House is the perfect place in Annapolis for your special event, no matter the size. It is just a short walk or water taxi ride from some of the city’s best shopping and museums. From the comfort of our dining room or cocktail lounge, your guests will enjoy spectacular views of the downtown harbor and the U.S. Naval Academy.
William Paca House
Annapolis is quickly becoming a destination wedding hotspot for its waterfront location, sailing culture, and historic feel. In terms of history and unique wedding venues in Annapolis, the The William Paca House is by far the most romantic. The colonial mansion and two-acre garden of William Paca, designer of the Declaration and three-term governor of Maryland, is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, or any special event.
Couples can tie the knot while standing on the back steps in the shade of this 18th-century house—overlooking the picturesque garden as well as friends, and family. Another popular choice is to be wed while standing on a quaint bridge that traverses a small pond in the back of the garden.
Whitehall, Annapolis Maryland
White Hall stands proudly along the banks of Meredith Creek, Whitehall Creek, and Whitehall Bay. The grounds consist of 135 acres of sprawling lawns and fields. This beautifully and lovingly restored National Historic Landmark offers an unparalleled backdrop for your one-of-a-kind meetings, weddings, corporate receptions, and private celebrations.
Designed by the same architect who designed the iconic Maryland State House, Whitehall stands as the finest example of Palladian architecture in the country and was the first National Historic Landmark to be designated in the state of Maryland. The house showcases a collection of museum-caliber artwork and antiques.
Whitehall’s grounds will be made available for weddings and other events, though the parties will have to be held outside to minimize wear and tear on the historic home. However, the interior of the home may be used for unique bridal and wedding party photographs.
